How much will solar cost for my home?
It depends on your roof, how much electricity you use and whether you want a battery – which is why we design each system rather than selling a package. Your free quote gives you clear options and prices, with no obligation. Finance is available.
Do I need a south-facing roof?
No. East and west-facing roofs work well too, often producing more in the mornings and evenings. Our designer will show you what your roof can realistically generate.
Is there VAT on solar panels and batteries?
Not at the moment – residential solar panels and batteries are zero-rated for VAT until 31 March 2027.
Should I add a battery?
A battery stores the solar you don’t use in the day so you can use it in the evening, and can charge from cheap overnight tariffs. We’ll explain honestly whether it makes sense for your home.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are installed in 1–2 days by our own team. We handle the paperwork, including registering the system with your network operator.
Do I need planning permission?
Most homes don’t – rooftop solar is usually permitted development. Listed buildings and some conservation areas can be different; we’ll check for you during the survey.
Will someone pressure me to sign?
No. We don’t use commission-driven salespeople or time-limited deals. You get advice and a quote, and you decide in your own time.
