Bookkeeper/Administration

Job Overview:

 

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and other accounting software.

Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
  • Provide support during annual audits

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Xero,
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay: £21,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
